Colin Bootman is a Caribbean-born painter. He grew up in Trinidad and moved to New York City at the age of seven. His experiences in the brick-and-mortar reality of the Bronx fueled his deep passion for fine art. He gained international exposure as an award-winning children’s book illustrator and fine artist. His books and paintings reflect a wide array of subjects and themes. His work creates stunning observations on the African experience in early America, the civil rights movement, and iconic figures in Black history. The Caribbean culture is also a prominent theme throughout his catalog. He seeks to portray these subjects with a sense of honesty and dignity. Bootman enjoys painting the experiences of everyday people within their natural environments. He is also revered for capturing moments of triumph, courage, fear, shame, excitement, and melancholy. Samuel Dixon

Samuel Dixon is an abstract impressionist artist with an extensive portfolio. He works with a variety of mediums, including hand-embellished giclées, print posters, limited edition pieces, large framed canvas prints, and private commissions. He is well-educated on the history of modern and contemporary art. Dixon has been praised for his colorful work with watercolors in addition to his signature impressionist style. Not only is Brianna Pippens an esteemed visual artist, but she is also a performing artist. Based in Washington D.C., Pippens’ work is the epitome of Black Girl Magic. Better known by her artist’s name, Banana Peppers, she creates impactful pieces of art that explore Black identity and culture. Justin Copeland

A digital painter with a passion for making meaningful art, Justin Copeland’s work is immediately recognizable for its authentic spirit. Hailing from Baltimore and currently working out of Richmond, VA, Copeland has been creating art for as long as he can remember.
